Industry Standards
Companies and organizations in the sporting goods and equipment
industry have industry standards to which they adhere and that
provide guidance and direction to engineers in the field. These
standards are written by experts with knowledge and expertise
in the field and may run from just a few paragraphs to hundreds
of pages. Standards are not unique to this industry, of course.
