Our objective in this module is to provide students with a broad, workable understanding of the product development process.

By first looking at a best practice description, we will then describe the roles and responsibilities that professionals must assume over the course of product development. We will then focus on decision-making: decision flow, how-to suggestions and the critical decisions that must be made.

The module will later highlight how professionals overcome pitfalls in the process before concluding with a summary of the phases of development and suggested questions for application in your own professional settings.
